WASTE TO ART
Celebrating the re-use and recycling of waste to highlight and thread the Nightcliff foreshore
NEW to ‘A Day on the Foreshore’
Recycle Lantern Creations – we want you to create large lanterns of recyclable material and have these displayed along the foreshore creating a sea of lights leading to each of the different stages.
Under the Sea – get creative and build an under the sea themed paper-mache statue OR enter in our ‘Under the Sea Costume Show’. We want your school or community group to create your best paper-mache creature or create a costume all out of recycle material. We will have the statues displayed all along the foreshore and our costume event show on one of the stages throughout the day.
Upcycle Fashion Parade – We want you to get creative and use your imagination for a stylish outfit to last the ages, by making your own clothes out of old or used fabric. We encourage all fashion designers to be a part of the day to show case your amazing ideas.
There are many other ways that your school or community group are welcome to participate in this community co-ordinated festival for 2019
